Woodbridge Boatyard
The Woodbridge Boatyard is a traditional boatyard in Woodbridge, Suffolk, dating back to 1889.
They are very proud of their long history and are strong advocates for traditional craftmanship and skills but also embrace new technologies.
Since 1889, many fine boats have been built and maintained in their yards at Woodbridge and Waldringfield. The materials include locally grown timber, which is used for our furniture, to high tech reinforced plastics.
From keel to mast head, bow roller to propeller, mud berth to all tide moorings, their yards situated on the river Deben offer the full range of services.
The boatyards are owned by Eric Reynolds of Save Britain’s Heritage and run by Matt Lis.
